Genocide and War Crimes Presentation
This assignment allows students to work in groups to research and ultimately present on a major crime against humanity. The assignment is broken into several different components: research, presentation, handout, and individual response and evaluation. The research portion of the assignment involves students exploring what actually happened in the event using four guiding questions:
After research is complete, students are tasked with creating a presentation as well as a handout to give to the class. The last component of the project students are asked to do involves answering an overarching question: What should the response of the international community be to crimes against humanity?.
